European Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ESCAP) launched the ESCAP-Ukraine webinar initiative in September 2024 with Ukrainian governmental bodies, UNICEF, and international partners. Over two webinar series from 2024 to 2026, the program provided structured, expert-led online training for a multidisciplinary audience, including healthcare providers, educators, and social sector professionals.

According to descriptive participation data, the webinars reached 10,489 unique participants from all regions of Ukraine. The initiative also supports ongoing reforms, including integrating child and adolescent psychiatry into paediatric healthcare and expanding community-based mental health services, alongside related training such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) courses and e-learning.
