Learning from deaths to improve lives: why England still needs a national LeDeR programme

0 citations

Abstract

The National Health Service England's Learning from Lives and Deaths of People with a Learning Disability and Autistic People programme is the world's only national mortality review system for people with intellectual disability. Abandoning national mortality surveillance risks making preventable deaths less visible, with profound consequences for equity in healthcare.
