Phytotoxicity and Data Analytics Pipeline for Silver-Coated Cobalt Ferrite Nanoparticles (Ag@CoFe2O4 NPs) in Wheat Plants

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This notebook implements an advanced ecotoxicological data analytics pipeline to evaluate the phytotoxicity and multivariate physiological impacts of silver-coated cobalt ferrite nanoparticles (Ag@CoFe2O4 NPs) in wheat plants. Organized into four analytical stages, the workflow handles ICP-OES elemental profiling with limit-of-detection (LOD) corrections to quantify bioaccumulation across separate vegetative compartments (shoot vs. root). It establishes critical environmental thresholds using a many-to-one Dunnett's post-hoc test (isolating NOAEC and LOAEC values) and derives conservative, purely toxicological indices (IC50) via a non-linear 3-parameter log-logistic model (LL.3). Finally, the framework employs Z-score standardization and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) biplots to decode the coupled relationships between intracellular metal burdens, photosynthetic pigments, and the protective antioxidant enzymatic machinery (CAT, APX, GPX, SOD).
