Abstract
Abstract SoSyM has turned 25. You can even see that on the cover of this dedicated issue. The 25th anniversary of Software and Systems Modeling provides an opportunity to look back—not only at the development of our journal, but also at the evolution of the entire scientific field of software and systems modeling. Or we could look into the future of the journal and thus the field of software and systems modeling. We decided to do both: a short view into the past and a larger view into the future.
