Abstract

ABSTRACT Meta genomic C overage and D epth Calculator (Meta-CD) is a convenient, biologist-friendly tool for determining coverage and depth to enhance taxonomic detection, functional profiling, and metagenome-assembled genome (MAG) recovery in metagenomics. It supports experimental design and post-sequencing analysis, modeling how genome size, relative abundance, sequencing depth, and DNA quantity influence detection of target species.
