Research Progress of Autophagy and Ferroptosis in Endometriosis.

Abstract

to clarify the mechanisms of autophagy，ferroptosis，and their interaction in the occurrence and progression of EMs can not only delve into the invasion and migration processes of ectopic lesions in the pelvis and abdomen but also provide new ideas and targets for the treatment of EMs.This article reviews the mechanisms of autophagy and ferroptosis in EMs and the key targets of autophagy-dependent ferroptosis，aiming to provide new strategies and a theoretical basis for revealing the etiology and pathogenesis and developing new prevention and treatment options of EMs.
