Abstract

This deposit contains the datasets required to interpret, replicate and build upon the study "Implications of key uncertainties in long-term land use emissions for India's net-zero future — an integrated modelling assessment," which uses the Global Change Analysis Model (GCAM v6) to assess India's long-term land-use carbon dynamics under forest-policy, net-zero and agroforestry scenarios. Contents:- 01_Figure_Source_Data — the numerical source data underlying all main-text (Figs 1–5) and supplementary figures.- 02_GCAM_Input_Data — study-specific GCAM v6 model input data (land-use and GHG-market constraint XMLs, energy-system XMLs, land-use CSVs, carbon data and the raw input workbook).- 03_Geospatial_Rasters — soil-organic-carbon spatial masks (GeoTIFF) for cropland, fallowland, grassland and shrubland, used in Supplementary Fig. 4.- 04_Model_Output — output of the study's add-on modules (agroforestry carbon-sequestration results, 50- and 100-year horizons; provided as encouraged model output). Scenarios: Reference; FP-2050 and FP-2070 (33% forest and tree cover by 2050/2070); NZ-FP-2050 and NZ-FP-2070 (forest targets with net-zero energy); and agroforestry variants with rotation.
