The genome sequence of a leafhopper, Hebata decipiens (Paoli, 1930) (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae)

Abstract
<ns5:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual <ns5:italic>Hebata decipiens</ns5:italic> (Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Cicadellidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 1 421.96 megabases. Most of the assembly (94.86%) is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.84 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland. </ns5:p>
