Seven-Dimensional Life Index (7DLI) Framework

Abstract
This project implements a seven-dimensional operational framework that quantifies the boundary between life and non-life across seven independent dimensions: Matter (M), Energy (E), Compartmentalization (C), Information (I), Homeostasis (H), Boundary Integration (B), and Evolution (Ev). The framework computes the Seven-Dimensional Life Index (7DLI), a weighted geometric mean that inherently penalizes systems with zeros in critical dimensions, and validates its discriminative power through principal component analysis (PCA), hierarchical clustering, and sensitivity analyses across twenty diverse systems.
