Researchers report a lensless microscope that imaged an entire 500-micrometer-thick, optically cleared mouse-brain slice without labels. The system combines a large field of view with millimeter-scale depth and approximately 2.4-micrometer pixel-level resolution, reaching a three-dimensional imaging volume above a gigavoxel scale in tests.
Researchers have demonstrated an integrated quantum memory with 11 independently controlled channels in a europium-doped crystal. It stored three time-bin qubits with fidelity above 99% and five-dimensional path-encoded states with fidelity above 96%.
Researchers observed sound waves moving ballistically through a disordered acoustic lattice even though the system’s wave states were strongly localized at irregular positions. The result separates localization of wave states from the movement of wave packets.
