Paper shading cut solar-panel output more than leaves in Uganda test
In an 80-day experiment in Kampala, Uganda, shading reduced the output and efficiency of a 40-watt solar panel. Paper reduced current, power and efficiency more than comparable layers of Ficus lyrata leaves, pointing to the practical importance of cleaning and panel placement.
