Enhanced analytical design of aggregated regulators for synergetic fault-tolerant control of wind turbine pitch actuators
Abstract
In this work, a novel synergetic control strategy based on the analytical design of aggregated regulators method is developed to compensate for pitch actuator faults in wind turbines. The proposed Advanced analytical design of aggregated regulators synergetic control combines the synergetic control framework with an improved analytical design of aggregated regulators mechanism to enhance fault-compensation capability. The controller design employs the second derivative of the manifold, leading to the formulation of a new synergetic differential equation. The proposed scheme preserves a fixed structure and incorporates a novel integral term z, which represents the accumulated tracking error of the pitch angle. This structure ensures robust performance without requiring explicit fault detection or controller reconfiguration. A Lyapunov-based stability analysis demonstrates the asymptotic convergence of the tracking error and the theoretical robustness is also validated. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method compared to existing methods through the performance metrics.
