The Art of Misunderstanding Special Relativity: A Case Study of Jan Slowak
Open access0 citations
Abstract
In his paper “Lorentz Transformations, Time Dilation & Reality”, Slowak performs what he calls a “logical analysis” of the Lorentz transformation and the time-dilation formula. He claims that these do not agree with “reality”, a claim that flies in the face of over 120 years of successful experimental tests of Special Relativity. In this paper, we show not only that Slowak’s analysis is devoid of logic, but also that he does not even understand the theory he attempts to criticize.
