Resolution of the Galactic Rotation Curve Anomaly via Local Interaction Field Equilibrium: Gravito-Inertial Acceleration Scaling and Wheeler GEON Halos
Abstract
The persistent flat rotation curves observed in spiral galaxies have remained one of the principal empirical crises of modern astrophysics, compelling the standard cosmological paradigm to invoke non-baryonic Cold Dark Matter (CDM) halos that have eluded direct laboratory detection for over four decades. In this paper, we demonstrate that the flat rotational velocity profiles () emerge naturally and deterministically from the Local Interaction Field Equilibrium (LIFE) framework without requiring ad-hoc non-baryonic particulate matter. By evaluating the master continuum force-density balance (), we show that the coupling between galactic-scale electromagnetic energy gradients and the intrinsic gravito-inertial mass-energy term (Term B-6: ) yields a universal radial acceleration scaling law . For multipolar electromagnetic and magnetized plasma fields (), this acceleration profile exactly counterbalances the centripetal acceleration (), mandating asymptotically flat rotation velocities . Furthermore, we demonstrate that pure radiation self-confinement within the LIFE continuum yields stable, macroscopic Wheeler Gravitational Electromagnetic Entities (GEONs) characterized by an exact equilibrium radius and finite rest-mass . These macroscopic GEON configurations act as non-luminous, self-gravitating energy condensates, successfully accounting for excess cluster lensing and the spatial separation observed in colliding galaxy clusters such as the Bullet Cluster (1E 0657-56).
