(XLVII) Epistemological Audit, Pregeometric WKB Beta Decay Errata, and Nuclear Phase Stability (v6)

Abstract

This monograph presents a formal epistemological audit and errata report for the Folded Crunch Dipole – Reversed Big Bang (FCD-RBv6) pregeometric theoretical framework. We address and resolve an intermediate tabular discrepancy in Part V regarding the free neutron decay half-life calculation, providing explicit dimensional normalization for the WKB action integral (SWKB/ℏ) and deriving the collective transition inertia Meff ≈2.91 ×106 MeV. The reconciled WKB tunneling formulation reproduces the global Particle Data Group (PDG) average (τn = 879.4 s) with exact precision. Furthermore, we conduct a cross-cutting audit of nuclear stabilization across Parts V, XVII, XXIX, and XXXV, establishing the required negative sign convention for the elastic coupling parameter (Jel < 0) in the toroidal phase Hamiltonian Hint =−Jel cos(∆ϕ) to guarantee that the antiphase configuration (∆ϕ= π) represents a true potential energy minimum. We clarify that nuclear stability operates via massive exponential suppression of the tunneling probability (Γ →0) rather than a literal infinite potential barrier. Finally, we update the official Master Technical Debt Matrix of Part XLIV, distinguishing closed ab initio derivations from open debts requiring N-body covariant tensor simulations in AdS
