Dynamics at Infinity and on Invariant Algebraic Surfaces of a Generalized Lorenz-Type System

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the global dynamics of a generalized Lorenz-type system. We determine the phase portrait at infinity under the Poincaré compactification in [Formula: see text]. Moreover, we analyze the dynamics restricted to invariant algebraic surfaces and provide a global description of the phase portraits.
