Advanced design of highly efficient graphene-based Ti-GaSb-Si based solar absorber for mining related applications optimized using machine learning
Abstract
The solar absorber is a necessity in renewable energy applications; it has been widely used and investigated in various materials and layer configurations. Analysis of the design and materials, with height as a parameter, can be developed for effective solar absorber design as a renewable energy solution. With the four diamond shapes with the graphene purpose in the new solar absorber design, it is named FDGSA for several thermal conversion applications in the current research. The three materials' composition with Ti–GaSb–Si (titanium, gallium antimonide, and silicon) has been used for the development of more than 90% absorption with 95.6% under the AM 1.5 condition. Across UV–NIR with 92.42%, 96.29%, and 95.85%, the solar absorber can be exhibited, and the polarization insensitivity is also included with a 0–80 incidence angle study. With the field intensity and the AI-driven (machine learning) also updated, the current FDGSA work with 0.99 R 2 outputs for the lowest 1.3 × 10 −4 MSE. The absorption (percentages) exploration over the design optimization and the lithography design for the current FDGSA were also designed. With the main focus on the thermal conversion, the developed FDGSA structure can be used in solar power, photothermal conversion processes, mining applications, thermal emissivity, and temperature-dependent performance effectively.
