Detecting Tidal Resonances in Binary Neutron Stars: Data Products

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Data products associated with the paper "Detecting Tidal Resonances in Binary Neutron Stars". Data products This archive contains the results of the nested-sampling analyses performed for the study. The data products include evidences, posterior samples, injection parameters and relevant metadata for each gravitational-wave analysis. The analyses were performed using the gravitational-wave inference package Bilby. The files are separated into the background and foreground populations. Each population is organised by gravitational-wave source and analysis hypothesis, with outputs corresponding to the waveform model with (res) and without tidal resonances (nores). Analyses on the tuned source are provided in targeted. Using the data The data are provided as gzipped JSON files. Each (unzipped) file is human readable, but is most conveniently accessed using Bilby (see the documentation). For example: import bilby result = bilby.read_in_result("background/source_001/nores/run_result.json.gz")
