Impact of wildfires on the soil microbiome and soil biogeochemical parameters: A systematic review

Abstract

This registration contains the protocol for a systematic review evaluating the effects of wildfires on soil bacterial and fungal communities and soil biogeochemical parameters across ecosystem types, fire-severity levels, and postfire assessment periods. The protocol is made publicly available to improve transparency, reproducibility, and methodological clarity.
