Cancer as Coherence Rescaling: A Terrain–Timing Model of Multicellular Constraint, Tumor-Level Cooperation, and Metastatic State Propagation
Open access0 citations
Abstract
What if carcinogenesis is not a descent into chaotic entropy, but a survival shift to an entirely alternate layer of biological organization? This series finale applies the Terrain–Timing Model to oncology through the mechanism of coherence rescaling. It proposes that as organism-level temporal constraints experience handoff failure and weaken, a highly cooperative, robust tumor-level ecosystem emerges to capture local resources. Leveraging cutting-edge breakthroughs in cancer chronobiology, the paper models metastatic colonization as the active, time-dependent reconstruction and pathological recoupling of a self-maintaining malignant state in a distant organ.
