NUCLEAR COHESION WITHOUT COULOMB REPULSION (XVII v6)

Open access0 citations

Abstract

We present a complete pregeometric formulation of nuclear cohesion within the FCD-RBv6 framework. In this paradigm, nuclear binding is not mediated by an independent strong gauge interaction or the exchange of massive virtual mesons (Yukawa's ansatz), but emerges as a direct consequence of the toroidal phase synchronization of dual-helicoidal fields belonging to the nucleon's constituent Einstein–Rosen (ER) bridges regularized at the Compton floor R₀ ≈ 0.6308 fm. We establish five core principles: (1) Anti-Phase Synchronization (Δϕ = π): when the dual-helicoidal toroidal fields of adjacent nucleons lock in phase opposition, their counter-rotating currents cancel local magnetic/toroidal stress at the interface (B_interface ≈ 0), generating a localized negative-pressure geometric binding well that completely overrides classical point-charge Coulomb repulsion; (2) Close-Packing of Toroids in 3D: nucleons model as rigid toroidal rings of radius R₀ ≈ 0.6308 fm whose close-packing geometry into nested shells derives the seven classic nuclear magic numbers (2, 8, 20, 28, 50, 82, and 126, with 184 predicted for superheavies) without requiring ad hoc spin-orbit coupling parameters (V_so); (3) Mayer-Jensen Splitting as Helical Alignment: the j-max intruder state naturally fills within shell k before shell k+1 opens due to the angular inclination of ER throats; (4) The Free-Neutron Lifetime (τ_n ≈ 879.4 s) as Semiclassical Decoherence: isolated neutrons decay via WKB quantum tunneling across the bi-stable flavor potential under collective transition mass M_eff ≈ 2.91 × 10⁶ MeV, while nuclear phase-locking (Δϕ = π) deepens the well to infinity, conferring eternal stability on bound neutrons; and (5) Non-Singular Fusion Energetics: the regularized Morris–Thorne potential V_EM(r) = (Z₁Z₂e²)/√(r² + R₀²) bounds the Coulomb barrier to 2.610 MeV, predicting a 21-fold WKB tunneling enhancement in sub-keV Helium-3 fusion (LUNA/JUNO target). All interactions preserve adiabatic invariance (dS = 0) in the AdS₅ bulk.
