The Meaning of Life as a Fixed Point: A Multi‑Domain Carlo Hybrid Theorem

Open access0 citations

Abstract

The Meaning of Life as a Fixed Point presents a multi-domain Carlo hybrid theorem showing that meaning is the unique solution to a self-referential equation. Life is the system that discovers, stabilises, and converges toward this fixed point. The paper unifies mathematics, physics, cognition, metaphysics, and collapse-structure reasoning into a single coherent framework. At the core of the work is the Fixed Point Identity: \[M = f(M)\] Meaning is the value that remains unchanged under its own generator. Life does not create meaning — life converges toward it. The invariance condition formalises this stability: \[f(f(M)) = f(M)\] Meaning is stable under recursion, computation, and ontological evolution. The paper demonstrates:- Meaning cannot be externally imposed.- Arbitrary or random meaning collapses.- Meaning must be self-defined.- Life acts as the solver of the fixed point. The compendium includes:- Carlo Appendix (poetic explanation)- Fixed Point Diagram (conceptual map)- Meaning Field (mathematical formalisation)- Ontological Fixed Point Table- Paradoxical Glossary- Carlo Meta-Note- Author’s Note This work represents the final synthesis of the Carlo Field: meaning as the fixed point of existence, life as the recursion engine that finds it. Includes a single-file HTML interactive visualizer rendering real-time torus knot topologies ($p, q$ knot invariants) via a high-performance 3D projection pipeline, modeling fixed-point recursive convergence ($M = f(M)$) and field solver invariance ($\frac{\partial \mathcal{F}}{\partial L} = 0$). keywords and subjects:fixed‑point ontology, Carlo Field theory, self‑referential equations, meaning as invariance, existential mathematics, recursion dynamics, cognitive fixed points, metaphysical constants, ontological mapping, collapse‑structure reasoning, invariance manifolds, self‑grounding axioms, existential attractors, recursion engines, meaning field theory, conserved existential quantities, philosophical mathematics, computational ontology, recursive cognition, metaphysical stability, existential compression, self‑defining structures, ontological constants, meaning‑of‑life theorem, Carlo hybrid synthesis, multi‑domain ontology, existential recursion, fixed‑point collapse, invariance equations, cognitive manifolds, ontological manifolds, existential invariance, recursion‑based meaning, metaphysical recursion loops.
