THE EFFECT OF TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT ON MANAGERIAL PERFORMANCE WITH A REWARD SYSTEM AS A MODERATING VARIABLE (AN EMPIRICAL STUDY OF MANUFACTURING COMPANIES IN CILEGON)
Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Total Quality Management and Organizational Commitment on Managerial Performance, with the Reward System as a moderating variable. This study was conducted at manufacturing companies in the city of Cilegon, involving 64 middle managers and supervisors. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling with a quantitative approach, employing the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method and SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study indicate that Total Quality Management has a significant positive effect on managerial performance, and organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on managerial performance. Furthermore, the reward system was found to act as a significant mediator in strengthening the relationship between total quality management, organizational commitment, and managerial performance.
