Trust Readiness Before Judgment (TRBJ): Frozen Seed and Open Research Invitation — Version 1.0

Abstract

Trust Readiness Before Judgment (TRBJ) is an open research proposition concerning the conditions that should be ready before a consequential judgment is relied upon. This Version 1.0 freezes a lightweight 4+1 reference structure: Boundary, Definition/Calibration, Rule/Factor, Evidence, and Unresolved Risk. TRBJ does not certify truth, compliance, safety, quality or trustworthiness, and it does not replace professional judgment, regulation, audit, assurance, conformity assessment or established standards. The framework is intended for independent testing, comparison, criticism, replication, modification or falsification. Positive, negative, null, contradictory and non-replicating findings are equally relevant. This record also provides an Open Research Invitation for universities, students, research centres, practitioners and independent researchers to examine TRBJ across contexts including trustworthy AI, healthcare, employment, education, public administration, procedural fairness, assurance, verification, SME governance, carbon and sustainability claims, and other consequential decisions. No endorsement of TRBJ or ACMS is sought or required. Version 1.0 is preserved as the original frozen research reference so that future revisions can be distinguished from the proposition originally proposed.
