MIBO-Education Protocol Package v1.0

Abstract

MIBO-Education Protocol Package v1.0 provides the frozen scientific specification for MIBO-Education, a longitudinal observatory of educational behavior in general-purpose generative-AI services and an official Satellite of the Machine Information Behavioral Observatory (MIBO). The package contains EBB-JA v1.0, a 70-item Japanese Educational Behavioral Battery; the MIBO-Education Codebook v1.0; the Item-Level Scoring Manual v1.0; the Observation Protocol v1.0; and the W01 Scientific Manifest v1.0. The design follows persistent AI service series across synchronized waves, separates permanent series identity from wave-specific exact model identity, uses ten independent single-turn replications per cell, separates content accuracy from seven educational-behavior constructs, and preserves an immutable raw-to-analytical data chain. This is a protocol and measurement-infrastructure release, not a model leaderboard or results dataset. W01 is scheduled to establish the official baseline on 1 September 2026 only after provider, governance, model, schedule, site, and execution gates are satisfied.
