Abstract
Up to 40% of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) develop extraarticular manifestations, including weight loss and persistent fever, which can mimic infection or malignancy.<sup>1,2</sup> A 73-year-old woman with long-standing, previously undiagnosed deforming polyarthritis presented with low-grade fever, dyspnea, and unintentional weight loss.
