Study: SBI for expansion for alcohol needed to reduce deaths

Abstract

Using a simulation model, researchers have found that alcohol use screening and, particularly, brief intervention in primary care can decrease alcohol‐related premature death. The study is published in the current issue of JAMA Health Forum .
