MIBO Core Protocol Package v1.0

Abstract

MIBO Core Protocol Package v1.0 provides the version-controlled methodological specification for MIBO Core, a sentinel panel survey of public generative-AI information behavior. The package defines persistent public service-lineage panel units, a fixed bilingual query instrument, synchronized survey waves, within-cell replication, parallel ecological Live and paired Live-Frozen reference designs, and a generalizability-theoretic framework for assessing re-observability across sessions, sites, and adjacent observation windows. The package is intended to support transparent implementation, preregistration, independent replication, longitudinal comparison, correction, and audit. MIBO is composed of MIBO Core, MIBO Satellite, and MIBO Network. International mirror replication is supported through the MIBO Mirror Observatory Kit. This v1.0 release is the citable protocol package associated with the founding and methods paper introducing MIBO and Machine Information Behavioral Sciences.
