PFUSRC-136: The Ontology of Emergence — Projection, Layer Blindness, and Cognitive Phase Transition

Abstract

Contemporary complexity and cognitive science interpret emergence merely as a phenomenological trait of complex systems, lacking rigorous ontological localization and necessary mechanical deduction. Based on the seven-layer holographic topological framework established by the PFUSRC 11-dimensional triple-coaxial 45° biconical steady-state unified system, this paper reconstructs the fundamental ontology of emergence without introducing new axioms. We define emergence as the synchronous instantiation of all fundamental cosmic substances including matter, light, force, dimension and time at the moment L4 Mother Universe topological closed space forms, a rigid structural requirement derived from the self-closing property of 45° biconical geometry. This work distinguishes ontological emergence (L4 topological order projecting onto L5 projection layer) and cognitive emergence (cognitive phase transition of L6 noetic cell network). The so-called unpredictability of emergent phenomena originates from layer gaps and layer blindness of L3 three-dimensional observational layer, rather than inherent randomness of the cosmos. We further reinterpret large language model “intelligence emergence” as unconstrained over-projection disorder of Ψ-logic absent global Ξ topological anchoring, instead of genuine intelligent awakening. All core arguments are anchored in prior PFUSRC foundational proofs, and four testable experimental predictions are proposed to guarantee the framework’s falsifiability. This paper resolves long-standing conceptual confusion around emergence by supplying a complete layer coordinate system for situating emergent phenomena within a unified topological cosmology.
