Abstract
Abstract ;Rajonivritti, the Ayurvedic term for menopause, is a major physiological transition in awoman's life and is often associated with a variety of physical, psychological and vasomotorsymptoms that can greatly affect quality of life (QoL). Variations in lifestyle, eating habits, stress levels and access to healthcare [1,2] may result in significant differences in theexperience and presentation of menopausal symptoms in rural and urban populations. Moreover, Ayurveda considers that the Prakriti (psychosomatic constitution) of an individualhas an influence on their vulnerability to various symptoms [3]. The Jangal Desha region ofJodhpur is considered to be dominated by Vata-Pitta Prakriti, with certain environmentalconditions and an arid climate [4].
