Open access0 citations

Abstract

The traditional method for evaluating student feedback in teaching general mathematics at Abia State College of Education, Technical, Arochukwu is manual and time-consuming. This study aims to design and implement an automated feedback evaluation system to improve the process’s efficiency and effectiveness. The system was designed using a structured system analysis and design methodology and was implemented using Java programming language and MySQL database management system. The system allows students to provide feedback on their learning experience, which is automatically evaluated to provide insight on the strengths and weaknesses of the teaching methods. The system was tested with 50 students, and the results showed that the system is user-friendly, sufficient, and effective in evaluating student feedback. The system also provides a platform for lecturers to reflect on their teaching methods and make data-driven decisions improve student learning outcomes
