Generative Paper 8: Photon Dynamics Through Cyclic Reconstruction
Abstract
This paper extends the ψ–Θ–χ framework from persistent cyclic organization to the emergence of the first propagating organizational structure: the photon. The previous paper demonstrated that recursively reconstructed elementary interactions can produce a stable cyclic organization whose identity persists despite the continual replacement of its elementary components. Although this result establishes organizational persistence, it does not explain how such a persistent cycle can propagate while preserving its organizational identity. The central result is that propagation cannot be introduced as an external translation imposed upon an already existing cycle. Instead, propagation itself emerges through successive cyclic reconstruction. Each completed reconstruction initiates the next elementary cycle in a continuously advancing organizational trajectory. The cycle therefore does not travel as a rigid object. Rather, its identity is preserved through the uninterrupted reconstruction of successive elementary interactions. The persistence of the photon does not arise from permanent elementary components but from the invariance of its reconstruction dynamics throughout propagation. The scope of the present paper is intentionally limited to the dynamics of a single propagating photon. No assumptions are introduced regarding collective propagation, interactions among multiple photons, or electromagnetic organization. Those organizational phenomena require additional principles governing relationships among multiple propagating structures and constitute the subject of the subsequent paper. This article is part of a broader theoretical program investigating the emergence of spacetime, geometry, and physical structure from the ψ–Θ–χ continuum.
