UNDERSTANDING EMOTIONAL ETIOLOGY IN FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE DISORDERS

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Ayurveda defines health as equilibrium of Dosha, Dhatu, Agni, Mala, and a balanced Atma, Indriya, and Manas. Manovaha strotas governs psychological and emotional functions. Its strotodushti leads to manasa vikaras like stress, anxiety, grief, and emotional instability. These mental disturbances significantly influence stree roga. Classical texts emphasize the close Manas–Sharira interrelationship. Modern science parallels this through psychosomatic and neuroendocrine pathways. Emotional imbalance contributes to disorders such as amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, infertility, and menopausal distress. Understanding Hetu and Samprapti of Manovaha strotodushti is essential for holistic care. Management includes Satvavajaya chikitsa, Rasayana therapy, and lifestyle modification. Mind–body harmonization is vital for comprehensive gynecological health care.
