A new organic display light keeps colors narrow and stable at different angles
Researchers have combined two organic light-emitting materials in a redesigned device that produces narrowband emission with little change in color as the viewing angle shifts. The devices reached external quantum efficiencies above 20% in both bottom- and top-emitting designs, more than twice the performance previously reported for similar polariton devices.
