Light-based scans tracked baculovirus infection in individual living cells
Researchers used a label-free light-based technique to monitor baculovirus infection in individual living Sf9 cells. Chemical signals from proteins and nucleic acids distinguished infected from uninfected cells, with accuracy as high as 0.94 in point measurements.
