Review examines brain and psychological effects after non-fatal strangulation

This integrative review examined 26 peer-reviewed articles on possible brain, psychological, and physical effects after non-fatal strangulation associated with intimate partner violence. The authors reported that the existing literature describes substantial impairments in some affected people, but screening approaches, management methods, and long-term evidence remain inconsistent or limited.
