More inclusive college courses raised marginalized students’ grades by over half a letter
Making college science, technology, engineering and math classrooms more inclusive raised grades for students from marginalized racial and ethnic groups by more than half a letter grade, compared with regular classes. A separate program aimed at building students’ resilience had little beneficial effect.
