Abstract
Nursing professional development is a specialty nursing practice that aims to improve the professional practice and role competence of nurses and health care team members. It does so by facilitating ongoing learning, change, role competence, and growth. This column explores how the Association for Nursing Professional Development applied the American Nurses Credentialing Center Outcome-based Continuing Education Model™ to validate competency, identify meaningful outcomes, and provide a customized learning experience, illustrating its practical application in leadership growth.
