A Review on IoT-Based Smart Voice Control Lift

Abstract

The Smart Voice-Controlled Lift is an intelligent elevator system designed to improve accessibility, convenience, and user safety through voice recognition technology. Unlike traditional lifts that require users to press buttons, this system allows passengers to select the desired floor using voice commands. A microphone captures the user's speech, which is processed by a voice recognition module or AI-based speech recognition system. The recognized command is sent to a microcontroller, which controls the lift movement and displays the selected floor on an LCD or LED display. The system can also include safety features such as obstacle detection, emergency stop, and manual button operation as a backup. It is especially beneficial for elderly people, physically disabled users, and individuals carrying heavy luggage. By combining embedded systems, voice recognition, and automation, the proposed system provides a user-friendly and efficient solution for modern smart buildings while reducing physical effort and improving accessibility.
