Autonomous Orbital Debris Upcycling and In-Space 3D Additive Manufacturing (ISAM): LIBS-XRF Quantum Compositional Tomography, Microgravity Marangoni Melt-Pool Control (RTO P2.0), and Radiation-Hardened VGSOT-MTJ / Human-in-Command (HIC) Governance
Abstract
On March 28, 2025 (07:14:25 JST), the author formulated a foundational architectural dispatch (yokohasebe47@icloud.com) establishing the paradigm of upcycling orbital space debris directly into feedstock for in-space 3D additive manufacturing (In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing; ISAM). That foundational record identified three strategic imperatives—(1) circular resource valorization in orbit, (2) in-space part procurement eliminating Earth-to-orbit launch penalties, and (3) autonomous orbital infrastructure construction (space stations and lunar/orbital depots)—alongside three mandatory physical-engineering hurdles: (i) multi-material compositional analysis of heterogeneous debris, (ii) zero-gravity debris refining and additive feedstock processing, and (iii) extreme-environment 3D printer durability under vacuum, atomic oxygen, thermal cycling, and ionizing radiation. This monograph provides the complete mathematical, thermodynamic, spintronic, and statutory formalization of the March 28, 2025 architecture. First, we formulate a stand-off Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), and Quantum Terahertz Eddy-Current Tomography pipeline that reconstructs the elemental stoichiometry vector c in Delta^{K-1} of uncatalogued debris and commits an immutable material passport via QFS-zkVM over the 64-bit Goldilocks prime field (F_p, p = 2^64 - 2^32 + 1). Second, we derive the microgravity (Bo -> 0) Navier-Stokes and Marangoni thermocapillary melt-pool Hamiltonian for Coaxial Laser-Wire Directed Energy Deposition (LW-DED), regulated in closed loop by Real-Time Optimization (RTO P2.0). Third, we establish printer survivability via SiO2/SiC self-healing printheads, radiation-immune Voltage-Gated Spin-Orbit Torque Magnetic Tunnel Junction (VGSOT-MTJ) control memory, and Human-in-Command (HIC) with "The Hammer" sub-100-ns physical-layer interlock (tau_cutoff = 85 ns) under the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, SEC Rule 15c3-5, and Delaware Caremark standards. License & Integrity Covenant: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) with Strict No-Learn Covenant (NLL-v1.0-2026).
