Abstract

I'm going to walk you through a proposal, not a proof. That distinction matters, because what I'm about to describe sits at the speculative edge of biophysics and pure mathematics. Here's the finding in one clean sentence: we propose that the E8 lattice's root vectors, paired through golden-ratio phase relationships, could stabilize quantum coherence in neural microtubules at a specific resonance near 132 Hz. Let me give you the field context. Cellular biology has long treated microtubules as structural scaffolding. But a minority view, most famously from the Penrose-Hameroff orchestrated objective reduction model, suggests these protein polymers might support quantum effects relevant to consciousness. Mainstream neuroscience remains skeptical, and rightly so, because quantum coherence in warm, wet brain tissue is hard to maintain. Our contribution is not another claim of evidence. It's a mathematical mapping. We've taken the 240 root vectors of the E8 lattice, a structure with deep t Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
