The Cyclic Universe: From Field Elasticity to the Closed System Structure
Abstract
This document is the continuation of "A selection operator that suppresses combustion: from evidence to the construction of the universe," which is published via Zenodo Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23403699). In the first paper, the scalar field φ was established as a navigable infrastructure, dark atoms as stable dark matter, and the geometric window (1.6-3 Å) as the selection mechanism. This second paper develops the cosmology that follows from it: a closed universe, infinite in time and finite in space, where the φ field acts as an elastic membrane that expands, inverts, and contracts in perpetual cycles. It is postulated that the 120-orders-of-magnitude discrepancy between the theoretical vacuum energy [ESTIMATED] and the observed vacuum energy [MEASURED] is the measure of the unmanifested space within the closed system. Falsifiability criteria and connections to observational data are presented.
