Supply chain resilience research and the automotive industry: review protocol

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This project holds the review protocol for a two-part study of supply chain resilience (SCRES) research: a bibliometric analysis of the Scopus-indexed SCRES literature published between 2008 and 2025, and a PRISMA 2020-guided systematic review of the automotive sub-corpus, coded for how studies define, conceptualise and measure resilience, with particular attention to emerging-market contexts and to Morocco. The protocol specifies the search strategy and record counts, the eligibility criteria, a two-stage independent screening procedure, the closed codebook used for data extraction, the inter-rater reliability design and its decision rule, and the planned sensitivity analysis comparing full-text-coded studies with the whole sample. It was written before screening and coding under this protocol began. The bibliometric search was completed before this deposit, so the protocol is deposited rather than prospectively registered, and the resulting manuscript reports it as such.
