Protocol v1.0: SMED Setup-Time Synthesis and Reporting Audit

Open access0 citations

Abstract

Prospectively frozen protocol (v1.0) for an empirical benchmark and methodological reporting audit of Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) setup-time reductions across industrial manufacturing literature (2015–2026). This document pre-specifies research questions, PRISMA-compliant search queries, randomized sequential screening quotas across OpenAlex and Scopus, human-in-the-loop AI extraction safeguards, a 3-tier reporting divergence classification rubric, and statistical analysis plans (unweighted log response ratio lnRR, paper-level bootstrapping, linear mixed models, and Monte Carlo power simulations) prior to systematic sample extraction.
