Volume X Synthesis: The Epistemological Arc, from Dual Clocks to Residual Risk (Slide Deck)

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This 14-slide deck synthesises the KSCCN Series Volumes III–X on quantum readiness, starting from the dual-clock distinction between an uncertain quantum-advantage clock and already-running cryptographic-migration and architectural clocks. It summarises quantum memory figures of merit, modular cryogenic interconnects (IBM, Bluefors), cryo-CMOS control electronics, and molecular entanglement entropy with fermionic superselection rules. It sets out four residual-risk readiness indicators, applies them to sovereign Global South pathways, two molecular systems (vinylene carbonate + singlet oxygen and iron–sulfur clusters/FeMo-cofactor) and 2027–2029 vendor roadmaps (IBM Starling, Quantinuum Apollo). It concludes that usable capability is a vector of thresholds rather than a single predicted year, and that dual clocks continue to run independently of vendor milestones. Slide headings: 1.
