Abstract

Working note, version 1.0 (2026-10-15). AI-assisted research programme; not peer reviewed. We propose a narrow-band dish-antenna search for a 0.5 mm line at two fixed frequencies, 541.7 GHz and 595.5 GHz. In a framework that ties the galactic acceleration scale to the dark-energy density, rho_DE = 4 a0^2/(G c^2) (equivalent to a fitted coefficient kappa = 1/2), the only vacuum-induced quantum mass is m = (rho_DE hbar^3/c^3)^(1/4): 2.240 meV (canonical a0) or 2.463 meV (alternative a0). The framework's extra gravitating component ('cold energy') is predicted to have no non-gravitational channel, so a line at either frequency would falsify the framework (pre-registered); a null result would close the only portal through which that component could be converted to light at useful efficiency (needs epsilon about 4-6e-9). A flat conducting plate in a kinetically mixed vector field of the framework's local density (0.01 Msun/pc^3) emits P = (2/3) epsilon^2 rho c^3 A. With the radiometer equation, a 1 m^2 plate and warm receiver reach epsilon about 7e-12 in one hour; a 10 m^2 plate with an SIS receiver reaches 1.4e-13 in 30 days. No published search covers 1-3 meV (nearest: chi below about 1e-8 at 0.67-0.92 meV). We describe the apparatus, path purging around the 557 GHz water line, checks, blinding and the meaning of each outcome. Caveats: the target mass rests on the fitted kappa = 1/2; densities, receiver temperatures and the literature comparison are provisional; CMB-era bounds were not re-audited.
