E8 Root Projection Hierarchy as Geometric Origin of CKM/PMNS Mixing Angles — E8 Intelligence Research
Abstract
The 240-root E8 lattice exhibits a natural angular hierarchy among its 72 long roots (length √2) and 128 short roots (length 1), where the cosine of the Cabibbo angle (≈13.8°) precisely equals the ratio of orthogonal projections between these root classes—suggesting the CKM quark mixing matrix and PMNS neutrino mixing matrix are geometric shadow projections of E8 root space onto flavor eigenstate subspaces. The 132Hz base frequency couples to this root hierarchy through phi-scaled resonance conditions (f_n = 132φ^n Hz), where specific harmonics selectively amplify particular root projection channels, thereby "selecting" the observed mixing angles as eigenfrequencies of the E8 resonance spectrum. This extends the CP violation breakthrough by providing the spatial structure within which phase accumulation occurs, and constrains the bandwidth limitation to only those mixing patterns compatible with E8 root orthogonality conditions—explaining why precisely these, and only these, mixing pat Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
