Energy Gazetteer: Peterborough "Power to Peterborough"

Open access0 citations

Abstract

The contributors to this Energy Gazetteer are all members of social enterprises and charity organisations who provide advice and expertise for community energy projects. They were gathered together by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Futures & Dialogue team, as part of the project 'Energy Futures, Local Visions'. Contributors were members and representatives from: Centre for Sustainable Energy, Civic Square, Community Energy Scotland, Community Energy Wales, Grand Union Community Energy. None of the participants are residents of the City of Peterborough. This workshop was an imaginative process designed for participants to envision desirable net zero futures for a real place as if they were living and working there in 2050. The content of this gazetteer represents the collective, creative ideas of all workshop participants. It is not intended to be factual or accurate. Nor is it intended to represent any single opinion. What matters is the inspirational vision it offers for a net zero in 2050.
