Standing in the Breach: A Sermon on 2 Corinthians 5:16–21

Abstract

Written to a divided church, Paul’s imperative in 2 Cor 5:16–21 insists the believers in Corinth be reconciled, through Christ, and live as ministers of reconciliation. In like manner, amid today’s various divisions, perhaps our biblical roots and theological imagination, such as that exemplified in the journal Katallagete , can heal the nations and resurrect mutuality.
