Qiu Lupeng Conjecture Proof(Part I)

Open access0 citations

Abstract

This paper is Part I of the proof of the Qiu Lupeng Conjecture, also called the Beautiful Identities Conjecture. The conjecture states that there exist only three beautiful equations formed by consecutive natural numbers, and no fourth such identity exists. This part uses modulo 2 parity analysis to rule out a large set of possible cases. Subsequent parts will use modulo 3, modulo 5 and modulo 7 remainder theorems to complete the full proof.
